Story
Dear family & friends,
In Feb this year I will be undertaking three grueling days of cycling - 300km - along the Great Ocean Road. Having done it before, I know what I am going to be up against, and I can assure you it is extremely challenging!!
However, it is all in the name of a very worthy cause. I have decided to support ADRA Australia in the work they are doing in Indonesia to improve the health of malnourished indigenous children under the age of 5.
The infant mortality rate in this area is 39 deaths per 1000 children - more than 10 x the Australian rate! This, along with prevalent childhood illnesses & other health concerns relate to malnutrition. The project, 100% funded by donations, will impact 20,000 mothers & children in the Gorontalo District by increasing the ability of community health services to detect health issues, and by increasing the knowledge & skills of mothers to deal with malnourished children.
I would love you to jump on board & help me help ADRA to help this community!
Thank you so much for your support!!
Steph :)
